Portlaoise to host Leinster club SFC final

The Leinster club SFC final between Moorefield and St. Loman's has been fixed for O'Moore Park on Sunday, December 10.
In this afternoon's semi-finals, Moorefield defeated Rathnew by 2-13 to 2-7, while St. Loman's came from behind to see off Simonstown Gaels by 0-13 to 1-8. The final will see St. Loman's manager Luke Dempsey come up against his former charges, who he led to back-to-back Kildare SFC titles in 2013 and '14.
O'Moore Park, which will also host next Sunday's Leinster club SHC final between Cuala and Kilcormac/Killoughey, was chosen as the venue because floodlights would be needed in the event of the game going to extra-time.
