Christy Ring Cup: Kerry book final ticket

May 25, 2013
Kerry 1-14
Kildare 0-11

Kerry will contest their third Christy Ring Cup final in four years after overcoming Kildare in the semi-final at Austin Stack Park.

The visitors suffered a set-back in the first minute when Paul Divilly's penalty attempt was saved and the Kingdom capitalised on their misfortune to lead by 0-7 to 0-4 at the break.

Shane Nolan netted the game's only goal shortly after the restart and the hosts then added on points from Darragh O'Connell, Brendan O'Leary and Aiden Boyle.

Nolan also raised three white flags as Kerry secured a final meeting against either Down or Meath.
