Kerry midfielder Bryan Sheehan believes that he is over his injury difficulties and ready for the remainder of the campaign.
Sheehan missed the majority of the league campaign through injury, but he has returned to club action in recent weeks.
The St Mary's clubman explained to the Kerryman that his fitness levels had dropped earlier in the year and this led to the injuries.
"I'm back now," stated Sheehan. "I just went through a bad patch. I had the operation before Christmas on my ankle and I suppose I hadn't kicked a ball since the Donegal game, bar the county championship.
"I just let my fitness drop and was struggling for fitness and all of a sudden I got injured again and that set me back another five or six weeks where I couldn't play.
"My first week back training was the Cork game in the National League. Since then I've had the head down working hard and just basically trying to get as fit as I can. We're in the middle of championship training and it's hard going."
