Clifford prepping for "massive challenge"

Kerry's David Clifford and Gordon Kelly of Clare

David Clifford expects Cork to ask serious questions of Kerry in the Munster football final.

The relegated Rebels put their league woes behind them when thumping Limerick in a one-sided provincial semi-final on Saturday night, while the out-of-sorts Kingdom simultaneously huffed and puffed their way past Clare.

“Cork had a massive win,” the 2018 Young Footballer of the Year told gaa.ie. “As you can see with Tipperary in the hurling, they probably didn't have a brain-storming league, but they've been unbelievable so far in the championship.

“It's very hard to know what you're going to get with teams until you see them in the championship, so it'll be a massive challenge now going to Páirc Uí Chaoimh.”
