Selector Harry O'Neill admitted that Dr Crokes were outplayed by Nemo Rangers in yesterday's Munster club SFC final.
The Killarney men were a pale shadow of their usual selves as they surrendered their provincial and All-Ireland titles in Pairc Ui Rinn.
"Overall, the better team won on the day, there's no argument with that one," O'Neill is quoted in the Irish Daily Star.
"We knew what they'd throw at us, but we didn't cope with it. In championship football, I think you need 12 or 13 guys getting seven out of 10, and I don't think we achieved that today and Nemo certainly did.
"They could have been out of sight at half-time, we hung in there and we were hoping we could get to grips with the game, but that didn't happen."
