Andrew Shore wants to do his talking on the field now that he is eligible to pull on the Wexford jersey once again.

The Model County will play host to Limerick in Division 1B on Sunday and the defender could feature on the team which is due to be announced later this morning after successful appealing a 48-week ban for playing illegally in London last October.

"I want to get my head back down now and get myself back into the panel and hopefully into the team," Shore outlined to The Irish Independent.

"Yes, I'm relieved and happy that it's over, but I have a massive task on my hands getting back into the panel and back into the team. Beyond that I don't want to say a whole lot."

Shore has impressed Liam Dunne on his return to the squad.

"He was flying in training," the manager revealed.

"It was like he was never away from it. He could never be a 100pc match fit at this stage, obviously, but what I need to do is get as many fellas fit for championship."
