'Fitz' and 'Dalo' won't fall out

Clare hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald
Davy Fitzgerald says he won't fall out with Anthony Daly over Clare V Dublin.
The Banner County pair won All-Ireland SHCs together in 1995 and '97 but will be in opposing dressing rooms at Ennis on July 7th when Davy Fitz' Clare entertain Daly's Dubs in a Phase Two SH Qualifier.
"I was texting 'Dalo' on Sunday before the draw was made," the Clare boss tells The Star. "I think we both had a feeling that we'd be playing each other.
"We said that no matter what happened there'd be no hard feelings. It's a very hard draw for us.
"We all know that Dublin aren't as bad as they showed [against Kilkenny] and that they will want to prove that.
"Last year, when I was with Waterford, we lost the Munster final by 21 points and then beat a fancied Galway team the next day.
"They [Dublin] didn't become a bad team overnight and it's unfortunate for Clare that we're the next team they play."
