Dempsey and Ryan to continue in Carlow

Antrim hurling manager Kevin Ryan
Luke Dempsey and Kevin Ryan are expected to be both reappointed to their managerial roles in Carlow at the next county board meeting.
Dempsey succeeded Paul Bealin as the county's senior football boss in 2008 and has been boosted by the returns of Thomas Walsh and Brendan Maher to the team this year.
Ryan enjoyed a progressive season with the county hurlers which saw the Barrowsiders push Ulster champions Antrim all the way in Belfast in the All-Ireland qualifiers, before eventually losing out by 2-18 to 3-12 at Casement Park.
Both men are expected to be given the green light for another year within the next fortnight.
