Colleges 40x20 All-Ireland Finals
Congratulations to Mark Nally and Cian Connolly - Roscommon CBS and to Lauren O'Riordan - Coláiste Mhuire, on winning colleges (2nd level) All-Ireland's over the weekend. Mark and Cian were unstoppable at the St Coman's court, convincingly winning their semi final over Waterford (21-7; 21-3). The final against Monaghan was always going to be tough, but even the left/right partnership of the Monaghan pair was no match for the Roscommon lads.
Lauren was up against her Limerick rival, Martina McMahon in the Junior Colleges All-Ireland semi at Ballymore Eustace (Kildare). As in the World Championships Lauren got the better of Martina in two straight games (21-16, 21-19). The final proved a formality for the in-form St Coman's star against Kilkenny's Ciara Mahon.
