Well done to our Senior hurlers who had a good win (2-18 to 1-15) over Moycullen in the first round of the Senior Championship last weekend. They now advance to the Group stages. There were also wins last week for our U10 and U16 hurlers. The U10s defeated Meelick-Eyrecourt in the League 7-8 to 3-1, their third win in-a-row. The U16s played Liam Mellows last week in Ballymacward and were easy winners 5-12 to 1-10. Their second win from two Championship games. Our minor footballers lost out to Williamstown in the League, however they will contest the Shield Semi-Final against Killererin. The U14 hurlers were defeated (4-7 to 1-7) by Carnmore in the Championship last week.
