Comer suffers double heartache

NUIG's Damien Comer dejected at the final whistle

Damien Comer endured one of his toughest days yesterday.

As well as losing the Sigerson Cup final with NUIG, his grandfather Miko Hannon passed away. His grandfather's death comes just over a year after he also lost his father John.

Our thoughts are with Damien and the Comer and Hannon families at this difficult time. Ar dheis De go raibh se.
