Watched Tyrone match and while they were excellent in first half - Monaghan came out firing in second half and even with 2 sent off deservedly - the usual weak Tyrone underbelly was highlighted - too many nice forwards who don't like it rough and ready and can't finish - it took big Sean to come on and show them how it's done. I've spoken to many Tyrone friends who believe that mickey isn't playing the right players - maybe he's holding back for championship but that's not a great strategy. Finally he had Mattie Donnelly on tonight who looked more like an Egyptian mummy with all the bandages and was giving the ball away - not like Matties game - he was obviously not right but mickey couldn't see that.

There's also loads of examples when teams collapse after having a man sent off.

A lot of it comes down to mentality. When a team loses a man the others players can sometimes stand up and work harder. Also if a team has the extra man they might easy off a bit and become laxadaisy.

Agree about mattie Donnelly should never have being allowed back on pitch
