Season Ticket Query

(Oldest Posts First)

One of the lads i work with mentioned as a Season Ticket holder you can use your season ticket to go to other league games in your code that don't involve your county (for example Monaghan v Cavan on Sunday). Does anyone know if there's any truth in that? Read the T&C's but it's not made clear there!

You can go to any match in the national league in your chosen code. I have used it to great effect over the last few years going to watch Louth,Meath,Down,Armagh, Cavan and even trips to Croke park to watch the dubs on a Saturday night.

That's the premise. In the T&C's (link) it says:

...The standard GAA Season Ticket (adult version) base price €99, Club+ price €200 entitling the holder access to:
a. All Allianz GAA National League 2017 round matches in designated code
b. Opening match of GAA Senior Provincial Championship for the selected county
c. GAA All-Ireland Club Finals in Croke Park

This would suggest that you can attend all games in your ticket code, not just those involving your designated county.

If in doubt, you can e-mail the ticket office at [email protected]. I've always found them helpful with any queries I've had.

Yes you can attend other matches in your ticket code either football or hurling can't do both, even if your county is not involved but this will not be recorded in your attendance for example if you have a Dublin season ticket and Dublin are playing in Kerry this weekend and you aren't going to it but instead decide to go and see Meath v Kildare in Navan you will get in for free with your season ticket in Navan but it won't be counted as a game attended, it also entities you to free entry to the All Ireland Club Finals in Croke Park on St Patrick's Day

Anyone know...can you access all the benefits attached to being a season ticket holder (the standard county package) WITHOUT being a member of a specific club?
(I'm thinking particularly about being guaranteed an All Ire final ticket if your county reaches the final and you have attended at least 60% of your county's matches).

I bought the standard season ticket this year but live outside the county. In the slot where they ask you what your club is I entered the club in Galway that I grew up in. I'm not a member of it anymore cos I live in another county and seldom return. Not sure if it's coincidence but shortly after buying the season ticket I got an email from the club asking me to renew my membership.

Thanks everyone!

I clearly didn't read the T&Cs properly!

Thanks for this. Didn't realise you could use your season ticket for other matches in all divisions. Will get more use out of it now so.
