Don't think the man got the credit he deserved he was under used in the past few years but by God he was class even in Monaghan's barren years ...

A silky left foot that looked lazy but was dead accurate he made the game look so simple at times I seen him score a point with the outside of the left boot in a league game against Laois in O'Moore park that will live long in the memory .

He was of similar class to the great Maurice Fitz
