Looks like Monaghan will be providing the guard of honour this year

Why is GAA announcing league fixtures for 2017 in the build up to a All Ireland final?

From a Cavan point of view, it's a stinker of a draw IMO.

I'd have put ourselves and Roscommon as favourites for the drop and would have said out best hope of staying up would be to get Ros, Monaghan and possibly Tyrone at home. We got all these away! Would have also liked to get Kerry in round 1 or 2 as they rest players until March. We have them 2nd last.

If we're to stay up, we'll have to do it the hard way!

Very good fixtures list for Andy, without getting carried away. We should win the 4 home games, and do well v Down and Clare away.
Oh I cant keep it suppressed, DIVISION ONE here we come.

Handy 2 points for Monaghan that day. Mayo lads will be bursting out of their jerseys after one hell of a winter :-)

Wow the dubs got 4 away games , how did the GAA let that happen? Jim Gavin won't like that.

Happens every other year. 4 away in 2015, 3 away in 2016, 4 away in 2017 and so on. Just like it does with Kerry. Do keep up.

Kingdonlady boy the Dubs love travelling...we take what we get and move on. Not too interested in the League now actually. We got bigger fish to fry. We'll let ye lads worry about the League for now.

Four home games for Tyrone can make the difference is giving the league a good shot.
