Just in from Breffni Park. Anybody hoping to see a new Donegal style, don't get your hopes up. We dominated the first 10 minutes and pegged over a few scores. The old blanket defence was then deployed, and the rest as they say, is history.

same old sick they always play . they wouldnt even kick out the ball without going short .

I'd say, and this really is no exaggeration, 80% of Donegal's kickouts didnt go beyond the 21.

Hardly. The average age of our team is about 22, with 5 lads making their debut. We accept that we need time, but a six point defeat against the anti-football brigade is no disgrace.

I really had a good feeling that Cavan could win Ulster this year , I even placed £1 @ 50/1 for them to win oops!!!

cavan kicked a couple of beauties at the start and most of the rest of their scores was when the game was pretty much over.

similar tactics to what we usually employed last year. not as defensive as we were against dublin but pretty much the same as we played in ulster. our attacking play was much better, whether that was because it was against cavan or if we have a better attacking plan will be found out later.

its on bbc2 for all to make up their own mind just over 6 minutes gone but in fairness already the blanket defence in progress..

I'm sorry but I hate Donegal and there negative football. I really hope they get bet by Tyrone.

Does mark Mchugh not feel guilty playing that roll. Maybe someday we might find out if he's a footballer or not. honestly my grandad could play the roll he plays and both my granddads are dead.
