All ulterior lads think they have hardest strongest most competitive province but three Connacht teams in the last 8 and we seen tonight what the second strongest team in Connacht did to one of the best in Ulster. Well done Galway

Second strongest Con team beats the fifth best Ulster team and you think that means.....what?

Oh ffs

Seriously how many Ulster posters have come on here saying we've the hardest most competitive province in recent times. It was true 10 years ago and to a much lesser extent 5 years ago but it really hasn't been of late.

The one thing about being from Ulster though is you have to win more games to get to the same stage and apart from a game against Antrim there aren't really any gimmes in Ulster championship.

Great win for Galway.
Great Connacht final win for Roscommon and it's great to see 3 Connacht teams in the last 8.

Why can't you just be happy with that? Why do you have to go around slagging off supporters from Ulster counties. It's just so agro and unnecessary.

The only thing that matters anyway is the county team.

Good luck to Roscommon next weekend.

There's also a very good chance 3 ulster teams will be in the last 8 as well......so again, I'm unsure the point the TS is trying to make?

I love the Ulster Championship but it was easy for Tyrone this year. I also like the back door especially when teams play against other provinces so well done to Mayo and Galway for putting out Derry and Donegal. It was also good to see Roscommon win the title as the third different winner in a row and I hope they do themselves justice next week.

Word of advice. Check spelling before posting. It's not hard especially if your post is as daft as this.

You sound like the Lion from The Wizard Of Oz. Don't see or hear too many Ulster posters 'boasting' about anything.

The third best team in connacht will beat the best team in Connacht next weekend. Any team in ulster would love the draw Roscommon got to win a provincial final. Leitrim and Galway, Monaghan have won 4 games and lost one and are not even in quarter final. Championship structure is a joke. Monaghan won two games and only got to the Ulster semi final, Roscommon win two and get to the all Ireland quarter final.
Ulster is not as strong as it was and that reflects when you had Fermanagh,Derry relegated to division 3 and Antrim to 4. But still we will have the most teams in Division 1 next year. Fair play to Galway last night but that's a young Donegal team and as Eamon McGee said when Donegal exit a championship they normally go out getting hammered.

Looking forward to Sunday immensely now, not only will I get to see two very good games (hopefully) but when all is said and done we will get to see the captains of Mayo, Roscommon and Galway climb the steps of the Hogan to lift the "we have more teams in the last 8 than you" trophy.

I am sure alot of people would love to get Wexford carlow and down in order to get to a quarter final. It is the luck of the draw. Sligo would have had to beat new York, mayo, Galway and roscommon to win connacht. Far from easy.

So, you're crowing about beating a demoralised team in transition? Did you see how handy Galway's scores came? Fermanagh would have beat Donegal yesterday. No defence by Donegal, no pressure on the Galway boys whatsoever; Murphy sent off incorrectly; two goal chances missed by Donegal.... and you're up on your wee gate, crowing and slagging off an entire province? Are you some sort of head case? A bit more humility would be in order; we all know that Galway will be beat next game.

Very good - as good as Galway were yesterday and I will give them total credit for that and I won't criticise Donegal - the fact is 3 Connaught teams will go to Croker next week and 1 will prevail.
