Had a good laugh reading the list , this site is not for lovers of the game it's for whingers , paroical defenders , there are the odd good threads but few and far between , if anyone disagrees with me have a look at the post ratio positive v negative and there's your answer , few actually want to discuss the games , ormobannerman from Clare who I don't think has ever weighted in on anything other than a rugby/ professional v GAA debate at this stage I don't think he even goes to games

People are generally attracted to negativity and controversy. Why do you think newspapers are full of bad news on the front of their tabloids ? Its what will grab peoples attention Damo, Myself included..Id be more likely to pick up a paper like the herald yesterday to read about the latest gangland hit, than a paper who's main headline is about somebody winning the lotto. People take great joy in others misery, that's the society we live in, thus this site absolute loves kickin the shit of Mayo where they lose, Its why people loved to kick the dubs when they where down after Kerry 09, Mayo 06 and Tyrone 08. Its why people will bring up Dublins advantages instead of praising our hard work. Its why people talk about Joe Brolly and not Ciaran Whelan/Tomas O'Se.

Dont be so petty and miserly.
I am always commenting on GAA issues but dont let that stop you having a rant. I certainly do go to games. When i can and if not working. And before you have another go at me. Learn how to use full stops/commas correctly!!

Since we're all about correcting people, any chance you could learn how to use the reply function correctly?

In fairness Ormond gets way above the quota of negative response to his comments for anyone that likes rugby or other sports. He does post on GAA stuff and gets a lot less negative response then, I reckon.

I don't mind negative comments at all, especially witty ones! And county loyalty vexing people is part of the craic. It's where dubious negative opinions are portrayed as facts and no proposal to improve the alleged negative issues that I don't like. I think in most cases if you've nothing posItive to say, say nothing.

Can anyone beat Kilkenny
Tipp are bottlers
Tipp are the new Kilkenny and will dominate
Tipp were overrated anyway

All followed by Tipp fans say we never subscribed to any of the above in the first place, except Thurles Blues who thinks Tipp can do no wrong.

Ah come on now, there were far more Dub haters on here than Kerry, before we started winning then some just disappeared into thin air, like moo moo, 51 long a go and most recently, the master. And remember, the hating on here comes down to a couple of posters normally and not the county per say.
So some of us only have ourselves to blame :D

I think some propels get a better kick of kicking a team or player when they are down rather than the joy of supporting their own county....prob all says more about the person.

Even the media are fickle....see how the narrative has changed on Tipp after one defeat and a few rumours. People are pathetic.

Ok I'm convinced. You are a master wind up merchant. In your previous post you were telling someone to use commas / full stops correctly. One post later and you are dropping in random full stops. Coincidence? I think not.

whammo you forgot the most popular threads are the anti rte anti rugby one - the clare v limerick thread has got nothing compared to the 90 odd page pullitzer prize winning blockbusters from the anti rugby crew

RealDub, count the number of threads started by non Dublin posters after a Dublin game this summer, then count the number of threads started by non Kerry posters after a Kerry game this summer, you'll quickly have your answer.
