Replying To MedwayIrish:  "Wexford's population density is roughly the same as Northumberland, which has the lowest population density of any county in England. Both seem deserted to me...........because, yes, I am a total townie. The Medway Towns here in Kent have almost 300,000 living here. No dramatic scenery to look at like yourself but I've no worries getting a kebab at 3am. Swings and roundabouts!"
Funny that Wexfords best bet of making the all Ireland final would probably be losing to Galway, winning the all Ireland quarter and then beating Cork or clare in the semi.

Replying To Wests_Awake:  "It's alright for you yellow bellies, you're practically Dubs anyway.

Think of us poor Galwegians out in Connemara. We've hay to save & turf to foot in the morning, and then the long drive & all the tolls into Dublin. Add to that a heap of pints before and after the match, and then a night in Coppers trying to get the shift with a distant cousin. It's like a holiday.

Meanwhile you'll be safely back home picking strawberries whilst we we're still clapping the men in maroon parading the Bob O'Keeffe Cup around Croke Park."
Have ye the turf all cut lads?

Realistically ye should get behind your footballers if ye want an All Ireland senior title its gonna come from your footballers.

Who do we get if we win Leinster then? Despite my optimism and excitement making massive in-roads this season, I still think we'll be edged out by the men from the west. I'd rather face Cork than Clare in a semi.

Based on what logic?

I suppose I should qualify my last comment (in case any Corkmen think it's disrespect and all that stuff), we've had recent success against Cork (having waited an age) and I'd rather avoid the soap opera that would be generated around Davy up against his former county.

We will beat Galway just wait and see we will joy and tears in men women and children in Croke Park at 5.30pm on Sunday evening.
The Galway crowd will be flooding out the gates with 5 minutes to go, wondering what might have been.
Wexford for BOB, Galway for the BOG

why would we be better off losing on sunday?means we have to win 3 more matches to win an all ireland, win on sunday and we only have to win 2.
and the confidence from winning on sunday would be unreal,so it would.

IF (and it is a big if) we win on Sunday, we won't fear anybody I don't think.

Loving your optimism my friend and to be fair you'll have seen plenty more of the action than me to be able to judge it. If you can bottle some of that belief I'll take a crate off your hands when I'm back!

If you don't believe you can win then you won't win. That said I was in thurles last year when Davy was so brave to overcome a heart scare that did not stop Galway beaten Clare. The game before I think featured wexford and the were worse then all full. This year they have the Davy motivation they have beaten A Galway team though the ref was poor. They beat a Kilkenny team 2 times and took a good beating from Tip. Next Sunday is in my opinion where we will see the difference in class . Galway are at a different level and will win pulling away.

Stop now will you once Galway get within sight of Croke Park they start trembling with fear. Once they come out onto the pitch in Croke Park they will be met by a sea of purple and gold and they will be shaking in their boots. Wexford will lead from start to finish and will see a final score line of around 1-20 to 2-15 Galway will also finish the game with 14 men.

Sure everybody knows the Galway hurlers love the Galway races, and being out of the championship by the time they come around.
And the annual maritime festival is on this weekend in the city, sure they don't want imposters like Bob O'Keefe in town Sunday night!
:)

You could proved to be right but it's very early to make an accurate view on how good Galway are. Tipp have been proven to be poor since and Dublin are in transition. Galway are deserving All Ireland favourites but we will know more Sunday evening. The hype and expectation around Galway is bordering on ridiculous levels the past month. I'm convinced this team will buckle under the pressure eventually, especially if they win on Sunday. If they do they'll lose the All Ireland semi - no question!

It's not Galway's fault they are favourites for the all ireland. At least we have a Leinster final to look forward to unlike tipp who have a handy game this weekend We will see how good tipp are when the come up again Limerick or Kilkenny or Waterford.Ye might not see croker this year.
