i dont understand the need for a semi final or a final in the league?..surely who ever tops the table should just win the thing?...mad for a showcase final i guess at all levels but still

Well realdub if you don't want to read our "rubbish " then you don't have to come on the kERRY forum kid , there isn't anyone holding a gun to your head.
We're not like the dubs where we have to put every little thing on the main forum.

Possibly but to base it on one performance would be silly. We barely fell over the line against Roscommon last year in the league down in Carrick. Many of you were quick to tell us we were finished then too. It wont last forever obviously and we will be beaten like ALL teams. I imagine HS will lose its trousers when it happens. Posters crawling out of the woodwork to have their say. I see Ulsterman rearing his head today after he went missing when we won the AI last Oct. Predictable but unavoidable. COYBIB!

Any competition where some have to play different amount of games to win the tournament is flawed beyond belief.

Take Leinster football with 12 counties and the vast majority predominantly football counties against Munster with 6 counties and only one predominatly a football county.

Tipp had to play five big games to win the All Ireland last year because they were drawn in the Munster prelimary round.First time a Munster winner had done it in 40 years (i think).Unlucky for Tipp they were drawn in the preliminary round again this year so will have to win another five games to win the All Ireland.Kilkenny would have had to win 4 last year and four this year.So Tipp have to win one extra game than Kilkenny to win the All Ireland again. And against top teams that makes a big difference. It's a huge disparity in the system. It is ridiculous.A farce.

Ruffled lad there's a bigger picture here than me being ruffled but all you haters cannot see it."
Totally agree clondalkin - ref gave nothing to Tyrone - absolute dusgraceful stuff! Well done for shouting it out.

I despair with how ridiculously uneven and unfair the provincial system is.How much more difficult is it for a team to win the Ulster football championship with 8 predominantly football counties than Munster with just one football county out of its six counties?Kerry have a huge advantage and the sooner this farce stops the better.

The Ulster argument is way overhyped.
You have three teams there who have shared it among themselves in Donegal monaghan and Tyrone and have been strong teams outside of Ulster but
outside of that the rest are very much on a par with the others in the province's elsewhere. Indeed longford dumped both monaghan and down out of championship last year and Clare dumped Derry out aswell. Today's league results also show up some of the perceived ulster sides being far stronger than other provinces when offaly hammered Antrim by 13 points, Galway beat fermanagh by 6 points , clare beat down comfortably and Meath demolished Derry just to name a few.

And just to emphasis the point that this place has turned into the Dublin forum, the admin didn't post my response to you Kingdomboy about how fascinating the rest of us found the discussion about Virginia's much needed by-pass or how a city of 1.5 milion can pat itself on the back for bringing a couple thousand fans 90 mins up the road.
