It'll the like the Kerry/Mayo semi final last year; it will be completely ignored or excused by most conributors on HS and the media because there are no Ulster counties involved. The brawls, dirty hits, off the ball antics, pulling and dragging etc will be labelled under the usual 'hardy, manly stuff' because it is a Kerry/Dublin game. It will be the usual, two faced hypocrisy and duplicity.

A good match for the time of year, but would expect nothing else from reigning all Ireland champions and league champions, respectively. The amount of fouls and dirty play on both sides was amazing. Intriguing match!

Black, yellow and red cards. All kinds of rules. What does it matter if the ref doesn't implement them and/or is inconsistent. Tinkering around with the hurling rules yesterday also when in fact the real problem is their implementation.

A serious level of gameship from the kingdom to see out the last 10 minutes. There was hardly any football played at all in that time. I don't really mind that, just the hypocrisy and associated with it. Alleged pure footballers and all that. Billy Morgan called it correctly a few years ago and was roundly condemned for it.

If that had been Donegal or Tyrone AMAZING and INTRIGUING would more than likely have been SHOCKING and DISGRACEFUL. I wonder will Spillane hit us with a 2 page spread of outrage and anger next week? I didnt see the game, but in fairness, the open game is long gone. Every game is pressure cooker tight and space is nil. So we have got to put up with a certain amount of 'behavior' around this.

I could say the same to you...

Here is the difference though ulsterman. There has never been a team that hasnt played a cynical game or cynical periods in games. That has been there since the gaa began and that will happen in games across any sport. What makes tyrone etc different is that they go out to do it every time, and that is what people take issue with. In the last 3 games between dublin and kerry you couldnt say that they have all been like today. You can when tyrone play monaghan for example.

NO here's the reality Master. Kerry have been the best exponents of these cynical tactics over the past decade or so and Billy Morgan called them out years ago BUT Kerry are excused because they are Kerry and NOT from Ulster. Kerry used the same dour, cynical tactics against Mayo last year in both semi finals last year, against Donegal in the final and again today so don't give me the nonsense and guff that Kerry only use them sparingly; this is their game. Do I condemn them for it? NO NOT AT ALL it's all bout winning. What I do take issue with is the hypocritical, two faced duplicity from elements on HS, within the GAA and in the media who ONLY call out Ulster sides when they do it.

Kerry seemed to just want to "punch" their way to victory. Donaghy et al. That said Dublin missed a lot of chances. Now we know what to expect from Kerry this year- "physicality" or "pukeball" call it whatever.

Wouldn't hold my breadth in relation to any player being cited going on past form. You only have to go back to the hurling last weekend when a player in two of the top division games should have been red carded. Nothing has happened since.

Well WestKerry. You have some great competitors like Kieran Donaghy, Brian Sheehan, Jame Donoghue, Pity they don't concentrate on football. All the physical stuff from them especially Donaghy. Just like the dreaded "Ulster men". To me Kerry tactics will basically be physical- so lets hope Dublin Mayo and so on can match them, or at least hold their own. Finally lets see some good refereeing and stop the niggling.
