I already acknowledged what COC did in a previous post. And for those highlighting his elbow I suggest you also go back and look at the Dean Rock incident lads, and look at it honestly. It really doesn't look good, hands go into the eye twice, debate it if you want but the video doesn't look great.

look at it in real time which is the only time the officials see it and it is nothing.

Ha I am only bringing it up and COC is being highlighted for an apparent elbow which we don't know was intentional. An eye for an eye, I'll get my coat.

Good performance from the Dubs but you'd have to wonder about Mayo's preparation for that game. They seemed well off the pace.

On Cillian O'Connor, my two cents is that he would walk into any team in the country. A great player that's only going to get better.

I agree. The only thing he lacks is killer pace. Only 24.

He's hardly slow to be fair to him.

He's strong, accurate and intelligent. All more important than lightning pace in my opinion.

Some frustration from Cillian Sat night and he was lucky with that elbow. We do have a few players that play on or over the edge but so do Dublin so let's not kid ourselves. Very disappointing flat performance from Mayo sat night but these things happen I suppose.

Dublins denfensive display was excellent. As was their transition, lighting fast. Driven by fenton and mccauley.
I dont think any other midfield could compete with them on that showing.
Mayo are obviously much better than that. There were a yard of the pace and tactically naive.
Dublins match day 26 is way ahead of everyone elses. Kerry next. Then Tyrone/Mayo.

Dublin could start to dominate the AI like they do Leinster if the current trend continues.

And if they'd lost there would be numerous threads proclaiming their demise. The fickle world of the GAA

Can't make too much of the win. Dublin were very good , Mayo very poor. Dublin's two hard fought games before Saturday stood them well. This will have no bearing on a championship meeting as no way Mayo would be so flat in such a game.

What was interesting is the often overlooked damage Dublin to the opposition kick outs. There will be the annual talk about what is needed to tackle Cluxton's kick outs butopposing teams need to focus on winning their own.
