I think this would be a good way to get all the older people who are alone to go out and have a bit of fun. Why can't our older people show there grand children how to play the game. rebelfan (Cork) - Posts: 70 - 17/02/2017 21:36:16 1957826 Link 2 |

You wouldn't be worrying so much about injuries as the season progressed, more so deaths :D realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8603 - 18/02/2017 12:44:44 1957904 Link 6 |

The games could be sponsored by undertakers, how many ambulances would you .need at the games, 30 or more, St Vincents nursing home v St Paul's would transfers be allowed, if you were a good player you might get into a nursing home cheaper, like college.

Brillant idea but they should not leave out the Camogie players also i think anyone that has a pension should be allowed play and in all fairness health wise i would be more worried about the new generation of Mc Donalds eaters going forward with their cans of cokes . anpleota (Wicklow) - Posts: 204 - 18/02/2017 13:57:33 1957918 Link 1 |
If the All-Ireland Masters can't get insured then there's no chance this will ever go ahead. Gleebo (Mayo) - Posts: 2208 - 18/02/2017 14:24:30 1957925 Link 0 |
Despite the All Priests 5 A-Side element this is a good shout. Over 75's might be pushing it a bit though. if_in_doubt (Kildare) - Posts: 3685 - 18/02/2017 14:49:26 1957932 Link 0 |
I don't want to offend anyone but is this the only way rebelfan that Cork will win an All Ireland title in the next few years, ah only joking, might be the only way my own county will win one. Over 75s, Health and safety would have a field day, would be no need for an ambulance to be at the game, all you would want is a few undertakers, it would be funny though to see a ref calling a player aside and the player trying to argue with the ref that he or she is over 75m. 'I remember the year of the big snow, I was 10 years old at the time' ref then would ask what year was the big snow? Player would reply 1947, ref ya go own and remember I'm watching you. riverboys (Mayo) - Posts: 1389 - 18/02/2017 14:50:44 1957933 Link 0 |

Only a completely ridiculous situation would involve the use of joke arms and a remote control wheelchair..........
