I think in Galway overall Salthill/Knocknacarra would be considered the biggest. The land area itself is probably smaller than some rural clubs but it is so densely populated they have more members than most other clubs.

Cuala didn't win the best sports club on the basis of size. I read in an article about their achievements that they have 1,600 active members. That got me wondering of the biggest GAA clubs in the country based on membership. Them winning the award has nothing got to do with the thread.
