Galway hurlers to Munster?

Would it then make a difference if Galway joined? Would munster counties have a problem coming to galway every so often, or playing our young lads? Munster is so competitive at the moment, throwing galway in makes no difference.

Personally no but I just think hurling is better served with Galway in Leinster. I do think Munster would be better for Galway in the long run but it would be far too lob sided then. The biggest issue is definitely the underage issue rather than the location of games.

While I'm disappointed with no home games for Galway in Leinster, I definitely don't want them thrown into the Munster minefield. At least they frequently get to Leinster finals now, instead of more regular tough qualifier games. But the U21 champ needs to have Munster losers play Leinster winners in one AI semi final, and vice versa in the other one (with Antrim and Galway brought into Leinster regardless of fixture congestion)

We can buy third-third-third jerseys - Galway - Connacht - Munster: it will be class.

Go on let us in.....Tullamore is a dose!

wondering should galway hurling clubs go into another province - am i correct in saying at senior level galway winner go straight into semi final, but at inter/ junior levels there is a connacht championship (against the senior/inter clubs from other counties) - bit unfair on other counties if it is

The word unfair is being used a lot in the Galway conversation. Apart from Finals how many times have Galway had to play Dublin in Dublin? How many times have they played Kilkenny in Nowlan park? You could say yes its not fair to have to play in parnell or Nowlan or Croker year in year out, but they aren't so its completely fair

Home games is the smallest of all the issues for Galway supporters and officials when it comes to our involvement in Leinster. Underage teams not being allowed to compete is the biggest problem. If that issue was resolved and a fairer distribution of gate receipts and I would imagine the vast majority of Galway officials and supporters would be satisfied.

It shouldn't be any issue really. We in Tipp are extremely lucky with home fixtures but there's numerous counties who see very little home fixtures(I stand to be corrected). Waterford, Carlow, Kildare....
They should have never mentioned home fixtures as that's the stick the likes of KK and Wexford will beat them with!
What kind of an organisation is in Croke Park that can't just put the underage teams in?
