Connolly waving a card was a disgrace and has no place in Gaa ,why you being a smart arse like I'm talking about Dublin in this as well it's a big problem but you seemed to just want to get a rise out of me. Players that dive and play act are being rewarded for their actions it's getting out of control, I see it all the time now a player running full speed into a group of players bends his two legs up and crashes into the other players and nearly always gets a free for it when he's completely diving. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 15/11/2016 10:24:51 1934307 Link 3 |
I agree with you. No place for the diving. But it's been around along time like most things you see happening nowadays. Just seen the Castlebar v Corofin game at the weekend. The ref was pulling for the slightest contact. Players will get a feel for the ref early in a game but most teams at that level will already know how the ref calls a game. Players playing for frees all day. In general alot of refs don't do themselves any favours. Don't know if it's a lack of 'playing' knowledge or whatever but they seem to e hoodwinked very easily into giving a free to a player who blatantly dives. PS I couldn't possibly apologize for being a smartarse on this forum. Weary (None) - Posts: 249 - 15/11/2016 17:56:47 1934452 Link 0 |
Have to say I was really impressed with Molloy at wing back fro Corofin both in going forward and defending. Is he U.21 again next year? The_DOC (Galway) - Posts: 709 - 16/11/2016 11:34:26 1934627 Link 0 |
He is under 21 again next year, was a minor in 2014. I'd like to think he'd be involved with Galway this year if Corofin go all the way he probably won't get much of a chance in the league.
