So which do you think is more prepared to return to action after the 10minutes in the bin? The guy on stationary bike or one day on chair?

Both. Neither Is more prepared than the other. Some go on a stationary bike but it isn't that common.

Static stretching was the done thing by all the pro sports for a long time until they were finally shown the error of there ways and confirmed to dynamic stretching pre game. I'm sure people had the discussions like us of course they are right with static stretching there paid huge money its pro they can't be wrong, but lone behold they were and boom they changed there method of stretching

Players in rugby anyway do quite a mix of static and dynamic stretching pre game. You see it in warm ups at games

must been a poor nights trick or treating"
of course you havent because you are too good for it...you are presenting yourself as an expert despite being a hs poster..you arent offering your opinion..you are presenting it as fact which it clearly isnt..what credibility do you have to support your argument?

No I have zero interest in man utd are English soccer or living in England so why would I want to apply for a job there???
Where have I said anybody is an expert I asked people to view it logically if anything it's you who thinks soccer and rugby are experts and their word is gospel that they cannot be wrong but you fail to look at the logic and the fact that the guys doing the warm ups aren't the ones who have the ultimate decision on when its done as more than likely there are match day scheduling reasons as to why its done at the wrong time, possibly to do with tv or crowd reasons or to make a big thing of them coming out of the tunnel together before game starts. There are plenty of non player conscious decisions taken in all sports that benefit others over the player's you need to accept that just because those two sports are professional doesn't mean they don't make them.

Ormond
so the guy who remains active and keeps his body at a game functioning level is exactly the same prepared to return to the pitch as the guy who sits on his backside on a plastic seat????
Come on even you can admit that is ridiculous

It isnt ridiculous. Surely all these professional teams that have players just sitting on sideline doing nothing would have them doing something if they thought doing nothing was so harmful/non beneficial then?

Look at professional teams they're even allowed to switch off there's the famous picture of the ireland players in the dressing room with bottles and pizza after the Italy game in Euro 2016,even on Saturday the munster players were having bottles after there game against Glasgow, some of those players are coming up against new Zealand Saturday week"
Those bottles didn't do zebo, stander or Murray any harm on Saturday!!

Does 'going out' have to equate to going on the booze and getting legless?
