Replying To arock:  ""Cluxton was never tested all year" but yet other posters tell you he had a nightmare against Kerry!! so which is it folks? Others saying a goalie dropped by his county should be in team of the year!!"
Maybe the clue might be in what happened after he was dropped!

Replying To Donegalman:  "Hard to see the team RTE picked being taken seriously. Ryan McHugh had an amazing season. So to did Harte, both from an individual point of view. Both played exceptionally well for all the games they were involved in. Tyrone played 5 fixtures against division 2 and division one teams. Donegal played 6 fixtures playing 3 first division and 2 second division teams. Its not as if they played dead rubber games and were overlooked for nominations. Still, we have to see what the RTE team of the year really is: an exercise to make Carney and his fellow studio pals feel important for an evening."
I would have ryan McHugh on my team but you can't really pick Peter harte if your team doesn't get to at least semi final and you play badly in the quarter final your not going to get picked
