Briefly who will win on Sunday and by how much?

My initial assessment is as usual. A Mayo massacre. Dublin by 15 points plus.

The grandfather is 89 and not a terror with computers. I asked for his assessment.
He reckoned "Mayo should have folded up the tent years ago". Not sure what the hell hes means by that.
I think he means the same as me, 15 or so.

Players win matches, Dublin have the best players in the country so Dublin win, football can be a simple aul game at times.

I'll say Dublin by 5.

By that reckoning Armagh must have their tent well folded by now as well and given away to anyone who wants it.

I'd say Endas call to arms for Mayo might just sway it in their favour!

Please, don't even joke about it. We're down here keeping a low profile, trying to be level headed, not getting carried away, knowing that everything will have to go our way for us to have a chance, and then along comes Enda........

Dublin by at least 3 or 4, this Mayo just aren't good enough and I think they are past their best , sorry for the Mayo fans but I think the long drought will continue, and with Kerry and Tyrone on the way back it's going to be hard for anyone to break the Kerry,Dublin.Tyrone hold on Sam for a good while yet, hoping Donegal can build again playing proper football and challenge Tyrone for the Anglo Celt.
Sam will be staying in Dublin.

Mayo will be All Ireland champions by sunday evening. I'm convinced of that fact.

Actually I think its well known he is a avid mayo fan, wasn't his father a mayo player?
Regardless of politics he is entitled to express his views. Leo Varadkar is constantly pictured in his dubs jersey and I remember him saying how he was a hill 16 man all through his youth, and Bertie was a very ardent fan of dubs,
Its good that people in position of power are gaa people, it means we not forgotten about, plus they not just jumping on the bandwagon. I have no problems with them at all.

I simply can't see a scenario where Mayo are NOT lifting Sam on Sunday afternoon, regardless of the formidable challenge in front of the, they have timed their run to perfection in my book and have the look of winners about them. Expect a major outpouring of emotion in the west come Sunday evening.

Leo on the Hill. You must be joking. He was an avid cricket fan. He played cricket in his youth and still is an ardent supporter.

Kerry on their way back from where? Tyrone now know they need to find that elusive two or three forwards. It'll be four when Sean Cavanagh calls quits.

If Mayo lose tomorrow beating the Dubs next year or the year after won't get any easier. With the united nations virtually behind us the team won't lack for planning, but we'll need to have finally worked a September peak and if we have we'll win.

You're right. He is entitled to express his views. Just as I'm entitled to cringe when I see him voice them.

He may be a cricket fan too, naturally enough considering his ancestry it would be a shock if he wasn't, but 100% he was a hill 16 man in his youth, I met him once through my work, during lunch the subject turned to gaa between me and a co worker, low and behold Leo pipes up about his beloved dubs, and like yourself I was taken aback his knowledge of all things dubs football and his times on the hill. Also pics have appeared of him on the hill, now obviously he wont be on it on Sunday, but he is a well known Dublin supporter.
