Replying To ROS1:  "I think even kilkenny people are getting fed up of winning, loads of them did not bother hanging around for theirs teams lap of honour in croke park last year which I thought was very disrepectable."
Why are they one of the highest holders for season tickets every year since they came out

Replying To thelongridge:  "Hurling final is the same old faces for neutrals. It needs new teams, with all respect to Kilkenny, people would like a different colour jersey mounting the Hogan steps on Sunday evening."
So true. I'll be at this game with a Kilkenny jersey on because my girlfriend is Kilkenny and supports Tyrone frantically at football but I struggle to find the same love for Kilkenny.Secretly I'll be cheering on every Tipp score like I was with Galway last year.

So you don't want Kilkenny to win but will be sitting in the stands wearing a Kilkenny jersey because to Mrs is making you?! Can you say 'under the thumb'? :)

Make your mind up one minute you are saying they are dissrespectfull to the players and they are fed up of wining if they are the most likely team to get to an all Ireland why do they fork out money for a season ticket which includes the league and local championship matches in Kilkenny if they are fed up of wining

haha .Aye, well she is actually very passionate about Tyrone football and will be sitting there at every game roaring her head off so it is more guilt than anything .

I've turned her red and I'm not feeling the love back to Kilkenny. So I'll just enjoy the day a fake Kilkenny fan supporting Tipp and from Tyrone . No one will have a clue ...until I open my mouth .

My money says that this final will be a hell of a lot better than the football one, regardless of the familiarity of the two teams.
All the same I see the point people are making.
Its no good having the same team win the thing all the time.

Every county has a hard core support. Do you not think it was poor form that Kilkenny supporters would not hang on for there excellent teams lap of honour and it's fairly telling that one of the leading clubs in Kilkenny can't sell out there allocation.

There is a core of Kilkenny fans who will go to every championship match, every league match (home games at least), plus underage and club games and even Kilkenny training sessions, but yes, unfortunately I know fellas my own age who are steeped in GAA, but don't bother going to the matches and would rather watch them in the pub. I don't understand it but you can't force them to go.

Nothing screams 'organised fun' more than a pre-arranged lap of honour. Sure the players have been running about for 70plus minutes, why make them start doing laps after?

There are many counties and Gaels who take their success at the business end of the football and hurling Championships for granted and they don't even have a thought or concern for the vast majority who just dream of their counties even competing at this time of year. The arrogance and sense of entitlement amongst Dublin, Kilkenny, Tipp, Mayo fans etc is quite nauseating at times.
