I'm very proud of my boys one of the least supported football teams in the country for obvious reasons. WildPundit (Tipperary) - Posts: 1709 - 09/08/2016 19:25:35 1899035 Link 0 |
If it was an all-Ireland final I'd be confident but Mayo are at their most lethal best in semi finals. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 10/08/2016 04:41:07 1899203 Link 0 |
Tipp will give Mayo enough of it but I think Mayo will win by 4 or 5 in the end. Condorman (Dublin) - Posts: 983 - 10/08/2016 16:51:16 1899510 Link 0 |
Upper tier tickets went on sale in the past 24 hours for this game. Look's like there will be a huge Mayo support there on the day. Are many hurling fans rowing in behind Tipp? I assume some "neutrals" will come along to shout for them. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11236 - 12/08/2016 09:47:18 1900178 Link 0 |
I hope there is but it's hard to say. It doesn't help that the hurlers are playing this week sky that could deter people from travelling up two weeks in a row. In the Supporters club email they sent out information about buying tickets for the hurling first and then casually mentioned that you can buy a semi finals ticket package for 60 quid as opposed to 45 + 45 to buy tickets individually for the two matches. That's not very helpful, I would have thought they would have promoted the semi finals package first being good Gaels and all. Coldrick is the referee which is terrible news from a Tipperary perspective considering how he managed Armagh vs Tipp last year in the league. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 12/08/2016 13:42:57 1900293 Link 0 |

Coldrick is a disaster. Tipperary won't have a chance. icehonesty (Wexford) - Posts: 2553 - 12/08/2016 14:24:58 1900317 Link 0 |
Yeah if I was from Mayo I'd be delighted too.

Pay no heed, that's the lad who said it's the highlight of his year when Mayo get beaten. Reading between the lines she was from over around Westport or that area!

Time to bump this thread back to the top. Tipperary v Mayo is this weekend's semi-final. Tipperary are there on merit. Mayo are back in another semi-final. 3 years since they last appeared in a final. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7870 - 18/08/2016 20:31:23 1902980 Link 0 |
Mayo -5 at even money has to be the banker of the weekend surely Jim_Shorts (Cavan) - Posts: 96 - 18/08/2016 21:17:17 1902995 Link 0 |
just remember that Galway beat Mayo pretty easy this year and then Tipperary destroyed Galway , so if you put two and two together you get an easy win for Tipp. culmore (None) - Posts: 1398 - 18/08/2016 22:01:13 1903013 Link 0 |
don't think so. If Mayo win they will grind it out as they have done so all season. Nothings a given. Vishred (Mayo) - Posts: 303 - 18/08/2016 22:14:27 1903021 Link 0 |
Will Tipperary get more supporters for this one? legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7870 - 19/08/2016 10:45:02 1903115 Link 0 |
I fear for Tipperary on sunday..every year I looked at mayo and said they are missing something but this year I think they could finally do it.this Sunday I'm expecting a close game for 50 mins but mayo to pull away in the last 15 to 20 mins.best of luck to mayo and Tipperary let's hope for a competitive game. dave1988 (Roscommon) - Posts: 1059 - 19/08/2016 12:17:50 1903159 Link 0 |
