Congrats to Mayo

Here watching it live

They did a Tyrone on Tyrone

Disappointed for Tyrone, they got sucked into it and paid the price. They still don't have a goal scorer. That miss proved very costly.. That's two years in a row that valuable goal chances werent taken

But again, clear cut. Well done Mayo, clever stuff from Rochford, fight fire with fire

Don't want to say too much here except good luck to Mayo goin forward. We totally left our shooting boots at home today and losing Sean was too much to ask. Lee Keegan is without doubt one of the dirtiest players in the country aswell as being a very good player in his own right. He's always "involved" in incidents and it always seems to be with the oppositions key men.anyway good luck just for the mayo fans.

Well done Mayo, ye done it against the odds and fully deserved the victory.

Best of luck in the final vs the Blue Juggernaut ye will be massive underdogs put all the pressure will be on them and ye have just beaten a 'Top 3' team so that will stand to ye in the final.

I'm not going to name the county (although we all know who's to blame) because I'll have a whole load of posts hounding me."
Go away with you - are you down on pitch listening to it - wise up man!

Have to say the sending off was harsh and too severe. Didn't deserve it at all. Do referees not take into account intent at all? Arm across the neck OK but with little force. Imo the ref gave most of the 50/50 decisions to Tyrone but gave the most important one against them.

Throws into question the theory that ulster is the best province, mayo this year would be ranked 3rd in Connaught (ok probably cant count rossies) but certainly Galway, and they beat (even though tried their best to throw it away, have they learned nothing from last year?) the ulster winners, they also went through the back door so less games cat be counted, over to you Donegal, lets see something special.

Better team won. Tyrones lack of a reliable free taker has cost them again. It is simply stupid by management not to address this year after year.

Mayo had better go on and win it this year but unfortunately I don't think they will. The tactics of time wasting was sucide and any other team in Ireland would have dumped them out. Also need to sort discipline out.

Well done to Mayo, it's typical of them to win this sort of game, ie one they're not really expected to win.

Should be a very interesting semi-final between them and Tipperary (who wouldn't be here if the much championed Jim McGuinness championship proposal was in effect). No ill will towards Mayo but I'd love to see Tipperary qualifying for the final, it would be some story.

I was surprised that tyrone seemed to lose their nerve a bit at the end with all those misses. Very unlike tyrone. I think coming in as favourites worked against them, it was arguably their worst performance this year.
We still werent great and stumbled over the line in the end. Tipp will fancy it.

Sad to see cavanagh go off like that. A great servant and tyrones best ever player for me.

Experience in the end won it for Mayo. Tyrone had two very good chances to draw level but inexperienced guys tried to score from difficult angles or from far out when there was ample space to work the ball in. Could not understand Boyle in the first half doing a jig when a clear-cut free was awarded against him. Though the ref was very good even although it was obvious that some of the supporters and the guy doing the analysing on Sky do not appear to know the rules on tackling/fouling/ arms around back/neck. Good luck to Mayo in the rest of the championship.

Ok we get it you don't like Tyrone now get back in your little box until your county becomes relevant again - which will be a long time we all hope.

Typically stupid comment from a poster who just thrives on sticking the boot in when a teams down. Nobody said that Ulster was the best province, no one, just more competitive than most, including your own.
Mayo deserved their win today, we were out of sorts and not at the races, big improvements needed, especially with free kicks.

Best of luck to Mayo, seriously though, there is a strange symmetry with Tyrone in 2008, watch this space.
