Mayo v Tyrone

Replying To Rayo:  "Its a Mayo win all the way for me..............If tyrone are going to win they will have to win well. The Gaa would dearly love Mayo to win the all ireland. Mayo arguably the best supported Football county at the moment. The Gaa are no fools. fully expect Mayo to get all the 50/50 decisions and plenty soft frees. Like i said for tyrone to win they will have to beat the officials today i feel."
I'd not disagree with what you say here. It's my worst fear for today.

Why aren't there more Dublin fans in to see their All Ireland Final opponents? Its not like they have to travel 5/6 hours to get to Croke Pk?

Well from everything I've seen so far you couldn't be more wrong. Ref is wearing a Tyrone jersey at the moment.

Good game so far but how stupid and undisciplined are the mayo players. Giving away silly fouls and a shoulder tackle at end of half time which a mayo player was given a yellow card for.

Yes its good to see a referee playing it fair........so far. The tackle is a serious issue in our game..........we need to introduce some sort of a defined tackle. i mean if you even look at a player now its a free..........30 seconds later a fella is half killed and its no free.

The sledging in this game is a disgrace and should be stamped out.

I'm not going to name the county (although we all know who's to blame) because I'll have a whole load of posts hounding me.

Ach now you could hardly say that. Thought he I'm has been consistent so far. It's mayo indiscipline that is causing them issues.

After a mediocre start it has developed into a fascinating game!

Boyler,Aidan o' shea, Keegan,Doherty all have been talked to or booked already for being dirty or mouthy, and young Diarmuid o Connor pulling in mc nabbs jersey when he was down, obviously taking his cues from older brother when he involved himself in Keegan Connolly incident last year. Even Senan o Connell is saying they are showing a lot of indiscipline.

Serious game so far I think, set up for a cracking second half, not sure about a few of the frees being given against both sides but that's just a minor sidenote in a great game.

If Paul Earley thinks Mayo are a Juggernaut then what descriptive term does he have for Dublin?

There is only 1 Juggernaut in Gaelic Football and they will be playing in an hour

Mc Laughlin just shoulders mc Carron into the face and ref gives nothing and mayo go on to score. I think he's not doin too bad for mayo either.

Well done Mayo. Beaten by the eventual winners in '12, '13, '14 and '15. Could be their year...

2 provincial champions are now out. The group stage will give them 2 more games to recover.

Tyrone have no leaders - 15/16 wides - fair play to Mayo but I fear for them again if they reach the final - in fact Tipp will give them one hell of a game.

That's a huge win for Mayo. They'll have their work cut out to beat Tipp but I think they'll do it. Congrats to both teams on a great game.

On another note, Peter Harte is just a phenomenal footballer!
