Paul Flynn, Michael Murphy, Conor McManus, JOD, Sean Cavanagh when he leaves out the diving.

Was a big fan of Tomás Ó Sé before he retired.

Obvious ones are

Murphy -Donegal

Connolly-Dublin

A.O'Shea-Mayo

Cooper-Kerry

McManus-Monaghan

Brogan- Dublin

And more that have been named already...

Players who don't get as many headlines but i'd love in the Galway team is the likes of :

Donie Kingston of Laois like Michael Murphy he seems to have everything gave Rory O'Carroll(Dublin) the biggest roasting I ever seen in Croke park two years ago and any time I see him he looks unplayable.

Darren Hughes of Monaghan is just immense I've never seen him have a bad day at the office.

Ryan Mchugh-Donegal just ozzes class so much pace and a football brain to go with it..

Seán Quigley- Fermanagh who wouldn't want this scoring machine on their county panel

Kieran Martin-Westmeath can play in a lot of positions and I think will just get better and better

Donal Keoghan-Meath great corner back not too many left in the game like him

John Heslin Westmeath-Excellent young talent for Westmeath has everything

Mark Poland-Down -always liked this guy such a great play maker of the game.

John O'Loughlin-Laois..Seen a lot of him in Dublin club games and with Laois has to be one the most powerful men i've ever seen on a field and has ability to kick points.

Brendan Murphy-Carlow-Fine example of a top player playing for such a weak county again he has everthing seen him in the flesh a few weeks back a joy to watch.

Gary Brennan-Clare Great midfielder like a certain shane McManus for the Biffo's years ago he can nearly carry a team single handed to results.

There is so many great footballers that i admire that might not be on the radar for everyone.

Favourite Conor McManus love to see him in a Dublin shirt , however which player would make us an even better team M Murphy no doubt with O Gara injured theres few that combine physicality with abilty better than MM .

Apart from all the obvious Murphys, Connollys, O'Sheas etc...

Mark Lynch (Derry)
Big strong man but has the skill to go with the physicality. Ravaged by injuries but would would start on any county team in the country.

Eoin Bradley (Derry)
Not sure what his current status is in terms of intercounty but in his pomp is unplayable. Deadly left foot. Currently playing Irish League soccer in County Armagh and is one of the best strikers in the league.

Michael McCann (Antrim)
Another Rolls Royce of a player, would get on any intercounty team in the country. Big, strong and athletic with the skill to match.

Dan Gordon (Down)
Like Eoin Bradley he probably isn't going to play county this year (or ever) but another powerhouse of a player. Drove his club Loughinisland to AI intermediate semi-final this year. The type of player Down badly need, it would be a shame not to see him back for one last year.

If only his father had stayed in Ballina would love to have Michael Murphy with Mayo. We could have himself and Aido rotating between midfield and full forward. We would probably be going for five in a row this year with a couple of league titles thrown in for good measure. Although on second thoughts with our record we'd probably have found a way to f**k it up somehow.

That would be some midfield ...some team, Murphy and O Shea. Still, never mind Michael Murphy's parents staying in Ballina, what about the O Shea brothers staying in Kerry . I wouldn't say no to those lads on the Kerry team .

Interesting that nearly all the players chosen are forwards or mid-fielders.
