woops as valley84 said it's all about underage development and structures combined with a very strong community who fought adversity in all its forms. Everyone lives and breathes the club, its the be all and end all, everyone wants success for the club and more importantly the community of Cross. Our local school Gaelscoil phadraig Naofa also helps with the conveyor belt, the young boys in primary school don't want to be messi or Ronaldo, they want to be james morgan, aaron kernan and micky McNamee.

When first the border started and 'twas seen that smuggling paid
King George he ordered out his men to try and stop the trade.
"But don't," says he, "pass Silverbridge, or you mightn't come back again
For there's not a cop could ever stop the Boys of Crossmaglen"

Yes great club, the are a credit to themselves and Armagh, phenomenal record, to keep that hunger is unbelieveable, do they support the county team? Should there be more Cross men involved in the county setup? Its bound to be hard for them, Cross is their life, most county managers probably see club football as a major hinderance, I assume the Cross players on the Armagh panel wouldn't buy into that too easily.

Surely not don_juan. I didn't see it myself but over on the Monaghan board drumlinbelt seems to think nothing untoward happened and he was standing right in front of it.

In relation to the AK concussion. It happened right in front of where I was standing. Nobody but nobody could figure out what happened as there was clearly no contact arms, fists, leg contact between him and FMcP. At worst there was only body contact collusion. If AK was concussed, then the medical team have some serious questions to answer

To be fair it was so expertly executed that it would have been very hard to see it in real time- but from the comfort of my couch and with 3 or 4 replays from tg4 you could see the uppercut clearly. Either they genuinely didnt see it or they're just been dismissive. Did people think that kernan was taken out of it by a sniper on the roof with a tranquiliser or something? As pati said, the way kernan slumped back after it with his arms flailing was enough of a sign and was kind of disturbing to see. If someone has been knocked out does it automatically mean they've been concussed??

Elvisahaha - The cross club always had a long and successful tradition with the county (eg, Joe Kernan being the best manager Armagh ever had, it was no coincidence that when Jow was involved he had a core of Cross players in the Armagh panel and as a consequence they won the All Ireland, National League and numerous Ulsters, once Joe left other managers didn't feel that so many Cross players were required or up to the standard of county football and so Armagh are were Armagh are. This has left a bit of friction in the county and to be honest the Cross boys would wear the black and amber anyday before an Armagh jersey.

Exactly Tom, I wasn't criticing, just looking in as an outsider, I would have thought there should be more of them involved in the setup but assumed the same as you said they would probably sooner play in an Ulster Club Final with Cross than an Ulster Final with Armagh.

This only appears to have been the case since Joe left right enough as the great Armagh teams had Crosses main men in prominent positions.

mayo will get some good help from Tony Mc this year too, he's a great asset to have in Mayo backroom and I personally think they'll be unstoppable this year.

i think there underage structures are unreal and each of the players would help out at underage level which helps alot as well, i know some clubs that would have 1 member of the senior squad helping out which doesnt help the youth!!

Totally lost any respect for them with everything that has gone on both on and off the pitch over the last few years. You know what I'm talking about Tom!

Far from it Tom, you don't know me nor my circumstances, but if you think that everyone is blind to what I'm referring to then you're not worth replying to. If you want to come on here and gloss over everything that's fine, ignorance is bliss.

Great club with a great dedication to our national game.
As for oso's accusations of them being underhand, show me a modern GAA team that isnt.
