Oulart v Cuala

Well done Oulart. They wanted it more and played some nice hurling early in the second half when they needed to most.

Well done Oulart. Deserved win today, after all the years of effort, heartbreak, more effort, finally they got over the line. Leaders all over the pitch, a bold call to hurl with a gale force wind but they dug in for the 2nd half and made it happen for themselves. For me, Tommy Storey could be Wexfords answer at centre forward, he can take a point and pick out a man and just made life hard for the Cuala CB today.

Oulart have a definite pattern to their game, they are cool under pressure and are able to find a better placed man, or a man looking down field, rather than hammering the ball over their shoulder down the field.

Can they go on and win the All-Ireland now? It will be a good team to beat them. Na Piarsaigh are a good team but so are Oulart...no doubt these ever confident Limerick men will be on here now saying that Oulart are rubbish and Na Piarsaigh will beat them out the gate....I wouldnt be so sure!

Hard luck to Cuala, I am sure they are devestated but Oulart know more than any other team how that feels! cuederocket, you get no luck betting against your own....I knew I should have backed Oulart!

Well done Oulart. I backed them +2 points at 2.05. I had a feeling they would win. Should have went for that. Delighted for them. Well deserved and long overdue.

I thought, as you say, Storey was very influential today, he got three points from play out of the their first six and seemed to be always making himself available. However they all played well and on the second half especially played some very intelligent hurling with men working hard to be available for passes and their colleagues displaying the intelligence and patients to find their men with pin point distribution. Overall sincere congratulations on a fine display. I think however there may be room for improvement in one aspect of their game. In the first when aided by a strong breeze they could have gone for points from distance more often as the Cuala defence was so packed it was difficult for the inside forwards to make much headway. If this area can be improved on just a little they will be very hard to stop. Having seen both teams this year including both provincial finals I think the next game could go either way, but I have a very slight preference for NAP and I think whoever wins will prevail on St Patric's day.

Great win for Oulart hope they go all the way , strong side and no reason why they cant , yesterday shouldn't take away from a wonderfull year for Cuala who represented Dublin with pride .

Disappointed for cuala, especially for the brainless way they went out, but very heartwarming to see oulart finally banish their ghosts. Really hope they go all the way now, although it may be a few years too late for that now

Congrats to Oulart and best of luck to them in the AI semi-final. Cuala just never got going yesterday, and the two goals came at crucial times. It's a young Cuala team though, the experience will bring them on.

Very disappointing effort by Cuala yesterday. If I had my way there would be no hurling games played at this time of year, no important ones anyway.
Well done to Oulart and best of luck in the rest of the championship.

Fair play to Oulart. Some perseverance. No pressure whatsoever on them now, they might go all the way.

Fair play to Oulart, really put their shoulder to wheel early in the second half against a strong breeze, hard luck to Cuala battled all the way.
