Great performances from David Treacy, Mark Schutte and Paul Ryan in today's Dublin SHC semi-final between Cuala and Ballyboden. Cuala march on to the final

Some amount of frees given in Dublin hurling champo, it's one of the reasons we make no impression in leinster, where frees aren't given so easy. It's ridiculous now, at least two thirds of the scores are from frees in mostmatches. Load of rubbish

Tri Leac... wow! From Intermediate runners up to senior county champs in 12 months

Mattie Donnelly is an exceptional man. His brother is a lovely footballer as well. I'd like to see them take a few scalps in Ulster.

Gilligan got 12 frees for Sixmilebridge yesterday with about 5 of them soft. Put it this way he wouldnt have got them so easy in the Kilkenny club championship.

History was made in the Wee County yesterday as St Fechins won their first ever Senior Hurling Championship when they beat Pearse Og on a scoreline of 2-20 to 3-11. In the Junior football championship Naomh Fionnbarra beat Roche Emmets in the final on a scoreline of 2-20 to 0-07.

Tg4 who is in charge there? Nemo Rangers in a final with Tomas O Se playing and they decide to show two Nordy finals come on get your act together that's shocking.

Agree, clondalkin, there were plenty more interesting matches on than what they showed. I reckon they'll always show gaelgoirs (hence Donegal), but the other one? Wtf!?:-D

clonadalkin why show the Nemo game? Just because a 37 year old is playing??? I didn't see the Donegal final but the Monaghan final was entertaining. Good game of football.

Tg4 showing a Leinster hurling game between Wexford and Laois champs then deferred coverage of the Nordy champo Derry v Monaghan champs.

clondalkindub Must be part of the many dubs who venture to Monaghan and have bought sterling only to discover Monaghan is in the republic. Laughable at how many times its happens. Good match choice anyway, Ulster champions against the Monaghan champions who if they get over sunday will give the Ulster and maybe the all Ireland a good rattle.
