Ziggy it is not a great Kerry team they somehow get results but it's nowhere near the team of the 00's like come on there half forward line is bang average.

O'Neill great player through he is made the cardinal error of kicking the 45 into Kerry's hands. Awful decision on the penalty. Kerry got out of jail today got gifted two goals cleaned out at midfield but still got the draw. Inevitable they will win the replay.

I agree Clondalkin' if he had of Got the distance with the 45 whither it went over or Wide it would have killed time and Surely would have won Cork the game. Very enjoyable match. Can Cork replicate that performance in the Replay..? I hope they Can.

O'Rourke is right, great display from Cork but it means nothing unless you can go out and replicate it time after time. I had no hopes going into this game and am embarrassed by my lack of belief. I still am certain that the Dubs will win Sam but am feeling more confident that Cork will at least make the quarter-finals. p.s. It was never a penalty but I still can't believe that Colm made such a mess of the 45 metre. That and Alan O'Connors charge with the ball are the little things that separate gallant displays from victories.

Ah lads im sick of this black card rule it's ruining the game for me like Moran walks for a little shoulder yet other lads are clothes lining players and only getting yellows and staying on the field how can that be right?

Excellent game, well done to both teams but in fairness Cork played better and should have gotten the win, there was a feeling of inevitably about the equaliser though.

Great game to watch,credit due to both sets of players. Interesting to see where the reply will be held as PUC is not available. Kerry looked like we had it wrapped up at half time and so did Cork when three or four points up in the second half so IMO a draw was the fair result. Penalty decision was a bit strange as he consulted the umpires and they still agreed it was a penalty..poor decision from a ref who seems to give one or two bad calls at crucial parts of the game.

Cork will not be written off so easy for the rest of the year and no team will want to meet later on. Kerry will not be anywhere near retaining SAM if they continue with that full back line. However no harm for an extra game for fitzy to sort things out and for the likes of the Gooch to get an extra game under his belt.

Taped the game and relayed the penalty call. It was an aggressive foul. And the play was inside the large parrallelagram. Kerry halfforward line bad. O'Se roasted in the second half. Star very poor, should have been taken off and Sheehan moved to fullforward. Cooper unable to stay with his man. Some very questionable moves by the Kerry manager. Cork left one behind them. Kerry overall poor but as usual they managed to survive.

Is it me or is what comes under a black card tackle slightly vague and the explanation is ridiculous. It must be 'deliberate' is the 'key' for a player to be given a black card. What does this exactly mean? Sure how is a ref supposed to tell the difference between a player purposely pulling down a player and Accidentaly doing it? Its ridiculous at the moment and the rule needs to be revised. It seems as if the first player to receive the card is because of the crowd getting on the referees back and then 99% of the time their is a black card given to the opposition to even things up

Why is the replay in Killarney again? If Pairc ui Chaoimh can't be used then surely it should be in a neutral venue?

Cork may get the next 2 games after that, but as they have Kerry on the ropes for the first time in a few years, why give them the advantage again by agreeing to go back to Killarney?

A pity the Cork forwards did not run at Kerry more. The Kerry backs are very suspect and cannot stop the running game. Cork forwards had the beating of them all day. Cork also on top at midfield. Expect Kerry to introduce Mahoney for the replay. Best display by a Cork team in years.
