I agree there isn't a word bout our game yesterday which is strange , usually they are queuing up around here to put the boot in.
But like I said to a cork poster on our own page we can have no complaints, ye absolutely destroyed us, ye'r backs were winning balls coming from behind our forwards.
I was shocked when I heard cadogan was at midfield but he was very effective.
I think Eamon played the wrong tactics yesterday , I said on our page last week that we should have played like we did against Donegal in the AI final.
Pat Flanagan has ye'r team really fit and he will be a massive asset to ye. Well done on the win.

Maybe start a thread called Cork v Kerry ye might some discussion :)

Was a decent enough game in fairness. Kerry were a bit one dimensional in attack it seemed to me. Lots of high balls into Donaghy and Walsh. Looks like they are crying out for the Gooch to give them more options. Cork looking good at this stage, as they usually do in the league. Will be interesting to see can they carry it into the championship.

Ya joxer the lumpingg the ball in to donaghy while effective isn't going to be enough to sustain us through summer we need a plan b as well but I'm sure Eamon will sort something.

A friend of mine who was at the Kerry Cork game at the weekend mentioned a brawl involving 20 players. Why was this not reported in the national papers or shown on League Sunday on Sunday night? Is it another case of it being swept under the carpet because Kerry were involved?

Didn't see that margin coming I have to say. Ye looked like world beaters yesterday. Could it be the Kerry lads are lulling ye into a false sense of security.

That is a big possibility. We hammered Kerry in Tralee last year and then our seasons took different paths. We have to wait and see what happens over the summer.

I am happy that we have no dual players. That was an annoyance. Changing tactics half way through the year did not help either. The turning point for Cork in 2014 was the league semi-final. A decent lead against Dublin at half time - end up getting hammered. Knocked the confidence out of the team, they completely changed how they played - reverted to the way they were playing under Counihan (slow, cumbersome build up) and then try to add in a bit of packed defence for the last game which all meant that it was a disaster. We must be cautious with regards to any progress as a result.

We know that in Brian Hurley/Colm O'Neill we have top class two footed forwards and if they can get enough ball they will do damage. Our key is getting good quality ball to them and who knows..we must just keep making progress..

Seems to be the norm these days with Kerry. Donaghy getting away with a lot lately

A lot of bitter Dubs on here tonight! In a spot of bother so blame the nordies! It's almost laughable! As for the Kerry lads going on about how Kerry beat the system and how Kerry always adapt? Really lads? Donegal gifted ye the All Ireland last year with Durcans kick out and he ref gifted ye the semi against Mayo so I wouldn't be getting too carried away!

Well the mask has well and truly slipped there Lifford, to think I bothered to try and debate with you. You must be getting sick of sucking lemons these last 6 months! Ha ha, hope you make it down to Tralee this weekend, the Kingdom will give you a result to moan about!!

KingdomBoy can you throw any light on the brawl that took place? It's very hard to get any info on it all...as I said before it seems to be being swept under the carpet for whatever reason and impossible to get any details on what exactly went on?

Ya it was after tommy scored his goal and he was running out and both sets of players started mouthing at eachother which quickly turned in to a pushing and dragging contest but there wasn't one punch thrown or a kick or anything like that, I must say the refferee had a great game, left it flow as much as he could but kept a tight hold of the reigns. All in all I haven't one complaint only that our players were bad on the day and looked tired but cork were excellent and were lethal when they got there chances.

Watching Chelsea and PSG I am wondering why any sensible person would prefer that to Dublin v Meath, Cork v Kerry, Galway v Mayo or Armagh v Tyrone. Instead of complaining about negative aspects of our game we should be shouting from the rooftops the good things about it. It is so much better than watching soccer.
