Well done to armagh played really well today and are improving in every game. Its not nice that some fools like lilypad coming onto to this forum slagging our players I suppose he thinks his county have fantastic forwards .graham reilly is agood player and tries his best for meath and he is not for blame today we were just beaten by a better team

Lilypad he's inconsistent like a lot of players but tonight when Meath were terrible he's the only one who stood up to be counted, to say he didn't or to slag him off is wrong. I think it's more a gripe with Royaldunne is why your having a go at Reilly.

who is this royaldunne you speak of :)

Lilypad surely you should be concentrating on your own county as they are playing at the moment rather than sticking the boot in.Shows you what true lily you really are.

Can't wait for the build up to the quarter final. Info from the Armagh camp should be fascinating.

Look I wouldn't worry about tyrone. They are worse than us at this stage so lads should wise up. One of the few teams we would beat these days are tyrone. Its like a fight between two ugly sisters about which one is prettier.
Meath under micko have not progressed , he should not have got job in first place and should go immediately. He is way out of his depth , no game plan, and kept playing players out of position. We no great shakes but we better than we are under micko. Do the right thing for meath micko.

Great victory for Armagh could have won by 10+ if it had been dry conditions. One of the worst Meath teams ever.

Lillpad. You some kildare fan. Talking about meath and kildare playing.
Graham reilly was one of the few players who stood up and was counted today.

Lilypad fair enough you don't rate him but you said he was terrible tonight which he wasn't.

hard to take but probably a fair reflection as to where Meath are at present. A very long road back.

Its like they say,the one thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about. Glad to see the red hands have gotten under the skin of the Meath faithful, we may have stagnated, you have regressed and just don't know it yet.

Oh I think the vast majority of Meath supporters fully realise where we are at present

clondalkin thought he made a couple of important bad decisions when the game was still there for meath, maybe a little harsh then ok :)

Along with Donal keoghan Graham Reilly was meaths best player. Actually one wonders why he didn't start. No doubt we will be back. I think Meath are too nice on the sideline we need a graham god geraghty type along with Trevor Sean and micko to get guys suped up. But that's for another day. Let's not make any harsh rush to judgement. As I said we not as bad as Carlow and Tyrone.

For all the Meath supporters on here who were predicting that if Meath were to meet Donegal , Meath would beat Donegal well I think after what I saw last night they would not have a chance.
Donegal to me are a mile in front of Meath and also IMO are a bit in front of Armagh at present.
In saying all that Meath did have bad injuries and we in Donegal saw last year how it can affect a team.
The sensible approach for Meath , as some are saying is to concentrate on underage development No point now in running down the players/management , looking at getting into Div 1would be a starter. As we in Donegal well know we had many a dark day on the football field so I know how the real Meath supporters feel this morning but I have a feeling Meath are at their lowest ebb right now and it's only one way now and that's upwards from now on in. Promotion to div 1 this coming season would be a starter.
