Armagh vs Meath

Don't think it will be in Clones, doesn't have to be a double header? Hope not anyway, not a great hunting ground for Meath. But think with a few changes and the very important two week break it will be 50 50

I'd rather drive to killarney than clones. Shocking spot for Meath.

Breffni would be more sensible anyway I think.

Hope it's in Croke park, I'm sure Armagh and Monaghan teams and supporters would'nt mind a trip to headquarters.
Armagh are coming in with a lot of optimism and Meath will need to get their heads right there is nothing to gain from throwing away the season yet. Be good to see Armagh back in the latter stages of the championship.
As for us against Monaghan neither team could be overly confident but Monaghan would clearly be favourites, hopefully we can stay in the game and put it up to them.

There's already a double header in croker on the 2nd so it can't be there or then. Unless they went with bank holiday Sunday for a double header. Don't think there's anything on in croker that day.

I think Armagh will win this one it's always going to be hard for Meath to come back after a hammering from Dublin. Meath have their heads down and Armagh have their tails up.Armagh to win by four.

From watching both games at the weekend Armagh appear to have the edge and should win by two/three points.

I think the extra week will help us though, if this game was played this Saturday then we could forget about it, but either way it will be a very tough game.

If Meath can regroup this has the makings of a very good game, hard one to call but Meath to scrape home

I like Armagh for this one. They have shown great resilience to bounce back after two hard fought contests with Monaghan to beat Tyrone and Roscommon away. There is a freshness about them and they seem to play with a fearless streak about them as well as being well organised at the back. Meath looked impressive against Kildare but they'll not be afforded that freedom in attack against Armagh and after Sundays roasting it may be too little too late this year for Meath. I hope I'm wrong and that its a close competitive contest all the same.

Meath win this and all the furore over being humbled by Dublin will be forgotten. The season will be seen as a success due to the general upward curve that will be attributed to MOD. Meath lose and MOD will be replaced.

was impressed with armagh v Roscommon, they are well set up and disciplined, Meath are not as bad as they looked against Dublin, Dublin have a habit of making teams look poor, I think this one is very 50/50 but Armagh to shade it

Perfect game for Meath if you ask me. They'll be hurting after that game on Sunday and will want to give the next team they play a few hits - Armagh will only be too happy to oblige to get into such a match. Don't think it will be dirty, just 2 teams going for it and giving it what for. I'm looking forward to it

Meath to win. Armagh are no great shakes, a lot of wayward shooting from Ros and a speculative long ball and a very fortunate goal for Armagh swung this game. Armagh gave away a lot more frees than Ros and I think Meath will make better use of their frees than Ros did. Quicker, direct ball into the full forward line caused Armagh defence problems but Ros didn't deploy this enough/on time. I don't think Armagh are ahead of Meath at all. A win over a young Ros side who didn't have their shooting boots on and lacked the experience to be more flexible in their gameplay doesn't prove much for Armagh. They are a tough, organised Div 3 team where Meath and Ros are young, developing Div 2 teams who will have nothing to worry about with the likes of Armagh in the years ahead. Meath by 4+
