The GAA trying to become more sportsmanlike by following in the example of the least sportsmanlike sport in the world. It'd be funny if it wasn't true.

Martin Dunne is wasting many good chances. He should be subbed.

What is the point in having these matches in Croke Park? There were more people at the junior and intermediate finals.

Lets hope we can kick on in the second half and win this. Lads need to get their kicking boots on up front as we coughed up a lot of chances in the first half. Make it a great day especially after winning the hurling game today as well!

It is kinda strange watching all this half time analysis & replays of incidents of a game nobody gives a toss about judging by the attendance.

Because thats what Croke Park should be there for, giving all members of the association the chance to play there, not just the elite. Although given that the GAA care more about leasing out the stadium to terrible musicians, who knows how much longer these finals will be held in Croker

I'm sorry lads but the notion of Croke Park being for the "elite" is long gone. It will soon be a major achievement not to have played there the way things are going.

Cavan's brutal shooting could well cost them this game.

Great result for the Rossies considering they were missing all their talented U21's.

Cavan's wides certainly lost them the games. Their style of play aint suited to Croker. I reckon it will be tough for them to bounce back for Ulster!

Cavan played awful football. Something I couldn't understand at all was that they ran into brick walls during the second half yet kept running into the Roscommon defence near the end when they needed a goal instead of kicking long ball. The wides they kicked were abysmal at times. Won't be near an ulster title this year in my opinion.

towards the end
cavan in the space of sixty seconds could have had two guys sent off
under the hoganstand the guy who won the free appeared to have struck the ross player as play restarted
then after the ball was worked out I think it was keating defo struck ross defender in the face
neither even got a card

Decent win for Ros considering Cavan seemed really up for it.Some resolve and bottle shown at the end which is a good sign however our shot selection was very poor lots of room for improvement.Cavans tactical fouling was well punished by Donie and Senan who were both impressive.

Bit of poetic justice in the end with Seanie macs cynical foul!!

hard luck Cavan, well done Roscommon, i feel Cavan kicked the game away, on another day if what they missed, penalaty, etc would have gon e in, they would have won well, not taking away from the Roscommon team who missed scores also, and are a very good team, i feel we have not heard the last of Cavan, this year, and Roscommon will push on in the west, all the best to Roscommon u21 s next week,
