U still in a twist over that hillman.....get over it. 30 euro for stand was great value for three games and students got a concession.

jesus some dublin fans really need to get over that considering they won the actual match...no one support is entitled to go to one place more than any other team..if croke park was actually dublins stadium than fine but its not..it belongs to the gaa..i know its hard to remember that sometimes with the amount of dublin games scheduled there

I'd be disappointed if the double header on Saturday didn't attract over 70,000.

Haha even better value if you went the hill you could have even sat down yesterday like the 50 or 60 others that were on it.

the fact was that the excuse that was made was that they were getting the cheaper option
well isnt the hill the cheaper option for all ireland quarter and semi finals
there was more cork on the hill yesterday than anybody else
if its beneath them to go there to any other matches they should not be given tickets for that area of the ground at the expense
of dublin supporters who want to go there and do go there all year round.

they were evidently looking to strike a nerve..it evidently worked..lots of dublin fans go on the hill i imagine just for the big games as every set of fans do..people can go to whatever part of the ground they want as they are entitled to do so..hill 16 isnt just for the dubs only

nobody is saying that but when you can equaly buy tickets the same as dublin supporters all year and then come the final
only decide you want tickets for that area it smacks of bad form from the gaa to roll over.
considering dublin supporters who go there all year buying their tickets through supervalue, centra, gaa.ie and ticketmaster
arent afforded the oppurtunity to purchase a ticket.
barely any hill tickets went to dublin clubs last year as the parnell pass and hill16 season tickets schemes were 0ver 90 %
of dublins terrace allocation where as mayo got as many as they wanted.

the final is always that way in terms of tickets though is it not?..always people going to games who dont go to the others and so on...especially because stand tickets are a lot tougher to come by on all ireland final day..i have been offered hill tickets on numerous occasions for all ireland final day

yeah but dublin clubs hill16 ticket allocation is always taken up
where as for the final mayo got that allocation at our expense
leaving most clubs with around 10 tickets each for the hill only

It will be a sell out no question.

All four counties are well supported, in marked contrast to some other, so called princes, of the game.

very poor Meath crowd in Croker last night

I've read a lot of posts by you over the years and you always have a go at meath. Why have you a gripe with Meath? We were better supported than Kildare but you didn't bother stating that. Monaghan weren't any better and while Armagh were the best supported not like you had more than 10k at it.

If the roles were reversed and you'd played our matches and our defeats and we'd played yours wth your victories I'd guarantee meath's support would have easily out did Armagh's. You need to take it easy on the royal bashing and find someone else to have a go at.

Still plenty of tickets going and plenty of options for anybody wondering. It may be a sell out but the GAA are saying 70k plus so a sell out will depend on good weather and a big walk up crowd I'd say.

If you want tickets for Hill 16 or the Nally stand they can still be got on tickets.ie

As of now (2 days before the match) you can still get some for the Hoganstand Lower and the Davin Lower. Prob not too many so if you want Lower level or terrace tickets get them quick.

Cusack Stand upper has a few left and there are plenty still for the Davin and Hogan upper.

So don't be put off by people saying this or that is sold out or will be. As of now you can get a ticket anywhere except for the Lower Cusack.

Poor Dublin and Kilkenny turnouts this weekend. ALthough the nadwagon should finally appear for the semi so that will surely be a sell out considering Donegal will bring 25k-35k...

poor enough turnout..really should have been a sell out considering it easily would have been a few years ago

I though attendances were fairly good....yesterday was a terrible day. Looking ahead to the Mayo v Kerry minor/senior double in 2 weeks, I wonder could the rail strike have a bearing on attendance?

On another note, surly fan of the week should go to wayno1 who returned from his holidays to Dublin for the game (ahm slaughter) and headed of back again...well done mate (your mad btw ;)

There was 30,000 Dubs there Jack. Very surprised at small turnout from Monaghan. 6/700 at most. Only for the Donegal supporters hoping to avoid the inevitable they'd have had no-one cheering for them :-)

poor dublin turnout are you for real jack goff
we had about 45 thousand there. on a saturday afteroon people work in dublin on saturdays too you do realise that.
as for saying should have been sold out it all but was for the public tickets
as they had to open the front 3 rows were the blue seats do be
the corporate areas were half empty thats where the people were missing from.
if it had of been on sunday afternoon would have been a sell out
saturday games never get as big a crowd for the main reason people work on a saturday afternoon.
there was as many armagh there as donegal and hardly any monaghan which was strange.
