Be surprised if theres 50,000 at the double header.Closer to 40,000 id say.Dublin v Wexford is not a crowd puller for a lot of Dubs,or neutrals.

Definately seemed to be more than 12000 at the Galway v Kilkenny game.

Yeah Meath v Kildare will be the crowd puller. I expect about 40k going to the double header for that and maybe 10k for the dubs v wexford.

Stand(capacity 7,000),

terracing on hospital side of ground (capacity 8,500)

Terracing and seating on the East side of the ground (capacity 3,500),

There is further spectator facility (capacity 1,000) on West side of ground.

Barely anybody was behind the goals and sometimes terraces can look fuller than they actually are.I'd say the offical attendance wasn't far off as most matches in Tullamore you need a ticket to get in.

depends on the meath and kildare supporters who had very poor crowds at their quarter finals
kildare were outnumbered by louth
and meath and carlow match only had 4 thousand overall attendance.
id imagine we will bring around 35 thousand
if the meath v kildare match gets around 15 thousand you would imagine they should get about 7 or 8 thousand
each to turn out but with that match been on tv might keep a few at home.
then i reckon there will be between 50-55 thousand overall but its early in the week yet to know.
we may have the same 4 teams as last year playing
but dublin v kildare drew most of that crowd last year and think it was 53 thousand overall attendance
so if you get similiar this year id say they be happy

tullamore holds 17 thousand for championship matches
12 thousand looked about right as I was there for dublin v galway a couple years ago
and looked similiar crowd and was given as 11 thousand that night.
stand looks big but doesnt hold much compared to stands in croker
also behind the goal with no terrace is actually included in the capacity for some bizarre reason
as if you were stuck behind there you wouldnt see anything

I'd say if there were 100 Wexford supporters there that was it. Not many more from the Lilies. Fair play to the Royals for staying back to support Wexford!

Dermie noticed as well. Be afraid, be verrrrrrrrrrrry afraid :-)

21k for Cork vs Kerry is embarrassing.

Yes Pairc Ui Chaoimh looked sparsely populated yesterday alright, maybe the Cork support knew something we didn't, I doubt there will be as much room to spare for the hurling final, kind of makes a further mockery of the seeded draw in Munster for financial reasons of a big Cork/Kerry crowd, results like yesterday won't help that cause either

We weren't overly confident after the Tipp game and recent challenges but its rare I'd defend our football support but a conservative estimate would be we had 15 of the 21k. Kerry terrace was deserted. Kerry seem to have given up travelling to the Pairc since the back door came in. It is typical to get 30k+ in Killarney but just 20 to 25k in Cork. Such a pity I remember it being 40 to 50k year after year.

There won't be a spare inch in the house for the Munster Hurling Final. Cork's footballers are generally very badly supported anyway for such a big county, its all about the small ball on Leeside. Compared to last year's final in Killarney there wasn't much hype leading up to this one, so that probably didn't help. If you'd told Kerry people in advance that their team would win by double scores there'd have been about 30,000 of them there!
