GAA Charging camogie clubs to use their facilities

(Oldest Posts First)

Is it acceptable for a GAA Club to charge €100 for a camogie club to use their pitch, where is the one club model and who actually owns GAA pitches.

Just to clarify this is €100 per match, €100 per training session, per team. A busy club could be running up bills of a Thousand euro.

That is ridiculous (charging that fee) I assume the camogie club is a separate entity to the GAA club? How have you being managing up to now? But I am sure that is neither right or fair.

This sounds familiar, I bet you will find the Camogie Trophy Cabinet bulging and a rather lean GAA one, a bit of the old green eyed monster I'd say.

100 per session is extortionate.
