The Orchard? not a chance. Blakes on Upper main street. Even though the pints are dire and you dont get the most welcoming of welcomes

Delaneys in Kilkenny. Home of the former county gaelic football secretary, a shrine to Kilkenny hurling, and the altar where pints are drunk when the Village win. And its across the road and down a bit from Star hurleys; 200 yards from the scholl Brian Cody teaches in, and down the road from the finest chip shop in Ireland, Larkins.

But don't ask for a bloody mary. You will be asked is that some sort of alcopop and offered a apple mickey finn instead. Even when you explain its tomato juice and vodka, they laugh at you. Tomato juice in a pub. I'm never bringing my girlfriend their again. One for me and my Dad.
