Replying To LeitrimRoyal99:  "Our first game in 6 weeks which is unusual, definitely a flaw in the system there. Hard to know where we are at other than a poor result against Roscommon in a challenge but challenges are sometimes misleading. Walsh and Morris both out would be a big blow but Gray back helps. Louth and Monaghan are both winnable games with good performances"
It's arguably the most evenly-matched pairing in the entire group stage. Mayo last year showed a 6 week layoff can be an advantage. Though, unlike Kerry in that game, Louth will be going all out on Saturday too. It will feel like a knockout. Want to see evidence they've put in a tonne of work these past 6 weeks and there has been some thought put into kickout strategy and defensive and offensive set-up. I could see a draw happening, and wouldn't say no to that to be honest. So, so hard to know what to expect. Could be a real morale-boosting win or could be a very bleak day. Really can imagine all possibilities at this stage!

i just can escape the bad feeling i have about these group stages, i think we are going to lose all three matches and actually think we could be beaten by 5 or 6 points this saturday. i think we are going to really struggle for scores. it will b a very hard one to take on saturday if we are to lose, i think had we beaten offaly last year in leinster, louth would have turned us over in leinster quater final. so i was happy to avoid them, i hoped we would avoid them for another year or two until they lose form again. but we end up getting them when there flying. very fearful for saturday.

I expect a mighty battle and if our defence plays well we could win.

Cant see it been a big scoring encounter, 15 points could win it.

Can't see if the Louth match is being broadcast anywhere. Dublin vs Roscommon and Donegal vs Tyrone on GAAGO but don't think there's any games on terrestrial TV. Would be a massive shame as so few tickets were available.

Any news on many of U20's joining panel? Now is the time to get these lads in otherwise we looking at another wasted year with continuing with lads who won't push us on with the existing panel. Given how lucky the draw we got, we have a great chance of making a preliminary q final. An impact from one or two of the U20 lads could make all the difference.
