Still can't for the life of me understand how you think it'd be a good idea to have all county finals played in December. I daresay not too many club players would agree with the idea either.

Some people might not have got it due to having to travel to Dublin?"
80,000 people going to receive wouldn't be great for the playing surface though....

Replying To Monaghansclown:  "Ok, so this is something I have mixed opinions on.

I agree that we need to bring back a curtain raiser before the senior finals. It was a great incentive for youngsters to have a goal to play in Croker on all-ireland final day. Plus, as a supporter, the sense of occasion in the second half of a minor final was immense as the crowd poured in and the gossins had 50K/60K people watching them ply their trade on the biggest stage of them all. Since the finals moved to a standalone fixture, I feel like the crowd arrives in 10 minutes before the game and I am getting up every 30 seconds during the parade to let someone out to the jacks.

What I don't agree with is the concept of needing more entertainment at half-time like some of the American sports. A superbowl like event where Christy Moore or Bono might give give us a sing song might be a romantic one for some people but it's not for me. I would rather be in the overcrowded jacks at half time talking to some auld Paddy fella about the first half and what the teams need to do better in the second half, while acknowledging this is Paddy's first game of the year and he scored tickets because he has contacts in Croker.

What are people's thoughts? What can we do better on All-Ireland Final Day? What is fine the way it is and doesn't need to change?"
If I'm wrong please show but there was never 50,000-60,000 watching a minor final, the U20 and U17 final was brilliant this year in thurles,I hope it continues,I was lucky to see Limerick win again this year and think it was brilliant,we came in a bit early, listen to some good music but it was great that both counties got enough tickets, please god it doesn't change.

The three top officer's are entitled to buy the three tickets and rightly so,the work the top three officer's do and all volunteers should have some reward.

I know, but they could give it out in each section. The stewards wouldn't be busy at that time, they can give it out.

Tremendous idea! It should be unannounced beforehand, and 2 minutes before it's due to start, there should be stewards everywhere to stop people leaving their seats to go to the bar or the toilet.

Mickey Harte and Peter Fitzpatrick to do the Mass seeing as there's a shortage of Priests.

Be awkward if Derry or Louth were in the final, no? He'd have no sermon whatsoever if Derry were.
Tomsmith is another thing to think about, he was never a fan of the 2nd collection. Would have to be capped at 1.

I'm not convinced he was that far gone on the first one, to be fair.
