Not the first time Urris have done this either. Pulled a similar stunt in the league last year which also had a knock on effect on scoring difference.

Two club managers not happy with having to play a championship match on supposedly a free weekend. Stephen griffin from st nauls saying that they are being forced to play killybegs in a relegation play off match after playing 4 weeks in a row and the other semi final is not fixed till the following week. And bonner saying much similar with players thinking this was a free weekend and having to play this weekend also. He mentions the ccc making the problem by not playing all the group games at the one time. The smaller clubs are being treated shabbily. If I were them clubs I wouldn't play this week...

Hi TheRock2121: not as sharp as previous years. Surprised seeing some of your predictions.

St Naul's are 100% right. Apparently Killybegs would be without one of their county men if the game is played on the correct weekend so it suits them to bring it forward a week.

Yeah not good. I read Stephen Griffin's comments and I found myself agreeing with him. We've made a lot of good strides over the last few years in terms of giving players a master fixtures list, so that they could plan things outside of football. This seems like a step in the wrong direction where the goal posts have been moved unexpectedly. He mentioned that a few of his players had made plans to head to France to take in Ireland's rugby World Cup match this weekend. I'm sure a trip like that isn't cheap. Puts an awful lot of pressure on young lads because they won't want to let their club down either in an important match. I don't even think they were given any reason why the game can't be rescheduled?

Living away from home these days so don't get to see many club games the past few months!
