Ballinakill won their only Laois Football Championship in 1888 and haven't won one since, 135 years later.

They serious men for hurling these days, so there's a good chance they won't win another football title for another 135 years at least!

Limerick Senior hurling .....Bruree won first in 1893 (De Valera was in primary school) and next one in 2006 (Beaten in 3 finals in between 1978, 1982, 1994)

Mullinalaghta was the biggest one in Longford going 66 years between 1950 and 2016. Other big ones were Dromard 53 years between 1946 and 1999, Colmcille 48 years between 1890 and 1938, Killoe 45 years between 1915 and 1960 and Drumlish 41 years between 1955 and 1996. Sean Connollys (Ballinalee) are waiting since 1919! Came close in the early 90s
